Who we are
Muslim Community of Secaucus Inc. is a registered non-profit in the state of New Jersey founded to serve the needs of a rapidly growing Muslim community in Secaucus and in neighbouring communities. MCS aspires to create value for all Secaucus residents through thoughtful and culturally-aware programming to strength the cultural mosaic in New Jersey.
The Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow’s nest for Allah or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise
، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ “ مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا لِلَّهِ كَمَفْحَصِ قَطَاةٍ أَوْ أَصْغَرَ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ ”

We currently organize Friday prayers for the community and are aiming to expand our offerings to include Taraweeh and 5 daily prayers
Community Programs
In partnership with other Muslim and civil service organizations, MCS aims to offer innovative programming for a variety of audiences, including women, youth and the elderly
Community Events
MCS organizes several events in Secaucus and beyond for individuals and families to get together, build community and develop the ties that bind

Thank you for your interest in supporting the Secaucus Masjid Project. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.” [Bukhari]
Please give generously in order to secure a permanent space for our growing community. We are currently renting a temporary space at the Veterans for Foreign Wars center, which Alhamdulillah is full each week despite the set up and takedown, storage and parking challenges. May Allah accept your donations as Sadaqah Jaariya. We invite you to be part of this project and contribute towards a prayer spot in the Secaucus Masjid for yourself or a loved one!
